Sanded is ALL sanded, usual for people painting their-selves. 
Black stain can be added to the crosses on the sanded option F.O.C - Let me know- Otherwise I shall assume ALL is sanded only.
 
Shelves can be free standing (as per images) or wall mounted with keyhole mounting fixtures, rawlplugs and screws. Please advise if you would like mounting fixtures added (free of charge)

Please note: Our pallets are responsibly sourced from waste wood destined for the bin/landfill. I will ONLY EVER use wood that has been heat treated and WILL NOT use pallets that have been treated with insecticides or those that do not display the "HT" (heat treated) branding. The pallets are stored, dried, cleaned, processed for suitability and sanded where required at my home, much to the annoyance of my dear wife.
