Due to the nature of this product – This is not flame or fire retardant.
 
Please note: Our pallets are responsibly sourced from waste wood destined for the bin/landfill. Wood may still show signs of previous use or natural imperfections (nail heads**, holes, stamps, splitting at ends**) I will ONLY EVER use wood that has been heat treated and WILL NOT use pallets that have been treated with insecticides or those that do not display the "HT" (heat treated) branding. The pallets are stored, dried, cleaned, processed for suitability and sanded where required at my home.
 
** = Shank of nails removed leaving heads for rustic effect and split ends will be treated to avvoid further splitting which is hoped adds rustic effect, please see product images. Please note that I will not send split boards.
